With Wolves' pre-season camp in Miami is at the midway stage, Wolves Express catches up with one of the latest returning members of the squad as Nelson Semedo is back from his summer break.
Having been given three weeks off after his international exploits with Portugal and this summer's Euros out in Germany, the right-back was one of four players to return to the squad after the pre-season win over West Ham United at the weekend, alongside national teammates Pedro Neto and Jose Sa, as well as Brazil's Joao Gomes, who was competing at the Copa America earlier this month.
Semedo joins the podcast to chat about how it feels to be joining pre-season at the midway point, how he's found getting up to speed with the rest of Gary O'Neil's squad and what it felt like to represent his country once again this summer at a major international tournament.
His fellow right-back Matt Doherty is the second guest on Wednesday's episode of the club's official bitesize podcast, as the Irishman describes the honour of being chosen to throw the ceremonial first pitch at Baltimore Orioles' baseball match against the Toronto Blue Jays.
A big fan of baseball and all American sports, Doherty was selected from his teammates as the club knew how much the experience would mean to the defender, and he admits he had a few nerves ahead of stepping up to the plate on Tuesday evening.
Finally, Wolves' head of high performance Phil Hayward outlines the changes which have been made to the club's medical department during the summer.
Wolves Express, which will be out twice weekly during pre-season, is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of Wolves Weekly and Matchday Live Extra.
