Wolves have held wide-ranging meetings with representatives from the Wolves 1877 Trust and the Wolves Fan Alliance as part of the club’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communication and engagement with supporters.
Both meetings followed ongoing constructive dialogue between Wolves supporters and club staff, with fans setting the agenda in each session and no topic off the table.
The Wolves 1877 Trust is a democratic, not-for-profit, volunteer-led organisation with around 500 members and links to supporter groups in the UK and overseas.
The Wolves Fan Alliance is a collective of ten fan content channels and groups that first came together last year in the wake of supporter dissatisfaction, with each group bringing one representative to the meeting.
The sessions provided a valuable opportunity for supporters to meet interim executive chairman Nathan Shi, and fans were encouraged to produce their own minutes from the meetings for external publication.
Discussions across the two meetings covered football operations, recruitment planning, ticketing, the matchday experience at Molineux, infrastructure, supporter engagement structures and the club’s longer-term direction.
Club representatives acknowledged the strength of feeling among supporters after a challenging period on the pitch and reinforced that improving transparency, clarity and dialogue remains a priority.
In both meetings the club committed to increasing and improving the quality of fan engagement, including the introduction of wider fan forums to allow more face-to-face dialogue with supporters.
Speaking after the meetings Nathan Shi said: “We are grateful to the supporters who gave their time to speak with us. The conversation was open, honest and constructive, which is exactly what we need.
“Everyone around the table shares the same goal of building a strong future for Wolves. Listening is only the first step, and our responsibility now is to follow through with actions, clearer communication and continued dialogue.”
