Wolves publish 2026/27 Fan Engagement Plan

Wolves have published the club’s 2026/27 Fan Engagement Plan, outlining the club’s commitment to openness, transparency and ensuring supporters have their voices heard.

The plan sets out how Wolves will continue to strengthen relationships with supporters over the coming season through a range of structured consultation and communication channels, including the Fan Advisory Board (FAB), fan focus groups, supporter forums and regular engagement with recognised supporter groups.

Building on the progress made over the past 12 months, the plan commits the club to continuing its close partnership with the Fan Advisory Board, with meeting notes published following discussions to ensure supporters remain informed about key topics and outcomes.

It also introduces a comprehensive fan experience survey, providing supporters with the opportunity to influence future improvements across all aspects of the matchday and supporter journey.

The club will also host at least one independently chaired supporter forum during the season, alongside its ongoing programme of fan focus groups covering areas including matchday experience, community and social responsibility, and Wolves Women.

The Fan Services team will continue to play a central role in gathering supporter feedback and ensuring it is shared with senior management, while supporters will remain at the heart of any significant decisions relating to the club’s heritage, including the club crest and recognised home shirt colours.

Matt Wild, Wolves’ director of football operations and administration and the club’s nominated board-level official for fan engagement, said: “Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of chairing the club’s Fan Advisory Board and working closely with supporter representatives from across our fanbase. It has been a hugely rewarding experience, giving me the opportunity to hear first-hand the passion, knowledge and commitment our supporters have for this club.

“Together, we’ve made positive progress. We’ve strengthened our consultation processes around key areas such as season ticket prices and shirt colours, continued our regular dialogue through fan forums and focus groups, increased transparency by publishing meeting notes more quickly, and worked collaboratively on a range of important issues affecting the club and its supporters.

“Supporters are the lifeblood of Wolves, and meaningful engagement isn’t something we do because we’re required to - it’s something we believe makes us a better football club.

“This plan sets out how we will continue to listen, consult and work in partnership with our supporters throughout the season. Whether that’s through the Fan Advisory Board, focus groups, supporter forums or everyday conversations, we’re committed to ensuring fans have genuine opportunities to influence the club and help shape the future of Wolves.”

Dave Wood, Fan Services manager, added: “Our supporters care deeply about this football club and it’s important that they know their views matter. This plan brings together all of the ways supporters can engage with us, while also setting out clear commitments for how we’ll listen, communicate and respond.

“Whether it’s through Fan Services, the Fan Advisory Board, focus groups or everyday conversations, we want supporters to feel connected to the club and confident that their feedback is reaching the people who can make a difference. Strong fan engagement is about building trust, and we’re committed to strengthening that relationship throughout the season.”

The Fan Engagement Plan also provides supporters with information on the club’s fan engagement structure, including the roles of the Fan Advisory Board, fan focus groups, supporter liaison and accessibility provision, as well as details of the club’s supporter communication channels and the schedule of supporter meetings planned throughout the 2026/27 season.
