Wolves Express | James becomes latest addition

Wednesday's episode of Wolves Express hears from new Old Gold arrival Jordan James after the Welshman became Cesar Peixoto's latest summer signing.

Last year's Championship Young Player of the Season moves to Molineux on loan from Ligue 1 side Rennes after impressive spells with Leicester City and Birmingham City in the second tier.

Wolves Express hears from the man himself, as James chats to former Wolves and Wales midfielder Dave Edwards, as well as exclusive chats with head coach Cesar Peixoto and technical director Matt Jackson as the pair reveal why they wanted to bring the 22-year-old to the Black Country.

Up first, James discusses with Edwards his first day at Compton Park, meeting his new teammates and finally having the chance to sign for Wolves after the transfer took a bit longer than the parties involved would have liked.

James also chats about his time spent in France and why he felt he got back to his best with the loan at Leicester last season and how he's excited to go even better this year at Molineux.

Peixoto also chats about what he expects James to bring to the squad, the qualities the midfielder possesses, the benefit of being able to play in a variety of positions across the midfield, and why bringing a quality player as well as someone with vast Championship experience will be beneficial to his side.

Jackson also speaks exclusively to the club's official quickfire podcast, as he reveals how the deal came about, why he was high up on Wolves' shopping list this summer and why the club have had to be patient to get the signing over the line.

Released regularly during the off-season, Wolves Express is packed with news, updates and exclusive interviews on both the playing and non-playing side of the club, complementing other offerings of the Official Wolves Podcast and Matchday Live Extra.
