Wolves Lottery donating £10 for every new member

Wolves Lottery are strengthening their support for Wolves Foundation this September, with £10 donated to the club’s official charity for every new Lottery member who signs up during the month.

The campaign marks the latest step in the growing partnership between Wolves Lottery and Wolves Foundation, helping to support the charity’s work creating opportunities and changing lives across Wolverhampton.

A particular focus of the partnership is Molineux Memories, the Foundation’s long-established project which supports people living with dementia, alongside their families and carers.

Wolves Lottery have already committed £25,000 towards supporting Molineux Memories, alongside a further £15,000 towards additional Wolves Foundation projects, and will now become an ongoing funding partner for Molineux Memories alongside existing external support.

The project provides regular opportunities for participants and their loved ones to meet at Molineux, socialise, share memories and enjoy activities in a welcoming environment.

Recent additional funding has also allowed the Foundation to take Molineux Memories further into the community, delivering sessions in care homes for people unable to travel to Molineux, as well as establishing dedicated sessions offering support and respite for carers.

The importance of the project was highlighted earlier this summer when participants, carers and supporters came together at Molineux for a special celebration event. One family described the weekly sessions as providing invaluable friendship and support while navigating life with dementia.

With previous project funding cycles coming to an end, support generated through Wolves Lottery will help provide greater sustainability for Molineux Memories and enable Wolves Foundation to continue delivering vital work for people affected by dementia.

Kevin Kay, head of ancillary sales at Wolves, said: “Supporting local causes has always been at the heart of Wolves Lottery, and we want our members to be able to see the genuine difference their weekly entry can make.

“Molineux Memories is a fantastic example of that. It provides friendship, support and some really special moments for people living with dementia and their families, and we’re incredibly proud that Wolves Lottery is able to play a part in helping the Foundation continue that work.

“By donating an additional £10 for every new member who joins during September, we hope we can not only introduce more supporters to Wolves Lottery but also generate even more funding for the Foundation and raise awareness of the incredible work they deliver across our community.”

The campaign comes at a busy time for Wolves Foundation’s fundraising activity. The charity is also participating in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2026, which provides an opportunity for qualifying donations made through that campaign to be doubled, helping the Foundation generate further funding for its work across the city.

Wolves Lottery exists to support good causes across the club and community, with 65% of its income allocated to good causes. Alongside its Foundation commitments, the Lottery supports Royal Wolverhampton NHS Charity, additional community projects and Wolves Academy.

Members can join from £1 per week, with a guaranteed £1,000 winner every Monday, alongside a range of other cash and non-cash prizes. Joining online takes around two minutes so why don't you join in September and make an extra difference.
