Wolves are proudly participating and marching in Birmingham Pride on Saturday 25th May and Wolves Pride on Saturday 9th June 2024.
The club are inviting all staff, players, participants and supporters to register their interest in representing Wolves and to participate in the Pride Parade, on either one or both of the days, by completing a short registration form by clicking here.
A pride parade (also known as pride march, event, or pride festival) is an annual outdoor event celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) social and self-acceptance, achievements, legal rights, as well as liberation and pride.
It is also an opportunity for anyone and everyone to come together to uplift, inspire and be a positive ally in celebration of people coming together in love and friendship and unity championing Wolves’ #OnePack ethos.
Last year’s Pride celebrations included staff from the club and Wolves Foundation who were joined by members of Wolves supporters’ groups, family and friends.
Birmingham Pride 2024 will start around 12pm on Saturday 25th May assembling in Birmingham City Centre near the Library of Birmingham, with the walking route taking participants through the City Centre before concluding on Hurst Street, the centre of the regions iconic gay village.
Wolverhampton Pride celebrations will start from 10.45am on Saturday 8th June on Victoria Street in Wolverhampton City Centre with the walking parade concluding at around 1pm, before the city opens its main event for Pride Plaza with an exciting line up including headline acts Denise Van Outen and Duncan James.
