With Pablo Sarabia set to leave Molineux this summer, wolves.co.uk reflects on the Spaniard’s two-and-a-half years in the Black Country.

17th January 2023 | Having spent his career with clubs such as Real Madrid, Getafe, Sevilla, Paris Saint-Germain and Sporting CP, Sarabia make his first move to the Premier League with Wolves.
18th January 2023 | His first evening as a Wolves player was spent watching his new club take on Liverpool in the FA Cup, but he got down to business the following day at Compton Park.
22nd January 2023 | Sarabia didn’t have to wait long to experience English football, making his debut just five days after signing, coming off the bench at half time of Wolves’ defeat to Manchester City.
4th February 2023 | While his first Wolves start, and home debut, followed two weeks later in a statement win for the Old Gold as he played the opening hour of the 3-0 victory over Liverpool.
24th February 2023 | It was a whirlwind couple of months for Sarabia at Wolves as he netted the first of his eight goals for the club to help the team fight back and claim a point away at Fulham.
26th March 2023 | Sarabia was celebrating again in March, but this time off the pitch, as his wife Carmen gave birth to the couple’s twins.
20th May 2023 | After being a regular under Julen Lopetegui until mid-April, Sarabia made just one appearance in the closing six games of the season, featuring in the final home game against Everton.
19th August 2023 | Sarabia was back in the starting line-up under Gary O’Neil and earned his first assist in Old Gold to set up Hee Chan Hwang’s consolation in a 4-1 loss to Brighton at Molineux.
29th August 2023 | The following week Sarabia showed his class in the golden palace as the Spaniard hit a hat-trick of assists as Wolves smashed Blackpool for five in the Carabao Cup second round.
11th November 2023 | After losing his place in the side and featuring for just 15 minutes in the next seven Premier League outings, Sarabia turned his – and Wolves’ – season around with a stunning added time cameo off the bench against Tottenham Hotspur. Firstly, he equalised with an excellent piece of first-time control and volley (which would go on to be names Wolves’ goal of the season) before setting up Mario Lemina for the winner a few moments later. Molineux was in raptures!
24th December 2023 | The Spurs performance gave Sarabia a run of games in the team, and he added another three assists to his tally, helping the team to wins over Chelsea and Brentford.
1st February 2024 | Sarabia gave Wolves hope from the penalty spot in their topsy-turvy contest with Manchester United at Molineux, which would ultimately end 4-3 to the visitors.
25th February 2024 | With his attacking teammates succumbing to injuries, Sarabia was a constant in the team for the rest of the season and scored an impressive header winner against Sheffield United.
6th April 2024 | His final goal of the 2023/24 season saw the Spaniard net from the penalty spot at home to West Ham, but Wolves’ promising campaign had already begun to fall off the tracks.
3rd August 2024 | Sarabia featured regularly in pre-season out in the USA ahead of his final 12 months in gold and black, scoring in the 3-0 friendly win over RB Leipzig in Miami.
9th November 2024 | However, when the Premier League got back up and running, the winger was mainly kept on the bench by O’Neil. However he did open the scoring early in Wolves’ first win of the campaign at home to Southampton.
1st February 2025 | A calf injury kept Sarabia out of action until the new year, by which time Vitor Pereira was in charge, but the new boss soon brought the Spaniard into his line-up.
5th April 2025 | After once again reverting to an impact sub, Sarabia played an important role in Wolves’ record-breaking run during April, coming off the bench to score and assist in the crucial 2-1 win at Ipswich Town.
20th April 2025 | Two weeks later he was back among the goals, and once again picking up a goal of the season nomination for his winning free-kick to secure Wolves’ first league double against Man United in 45 years.
20th May 2025 | His final start in gold and black came last Tuesday evening as Sarabia played the opening 67 minutes of Wolves’ last away game of the season at Crystal Palace.
24th May 2025 | Sarabia rounded off his Wolves career by securing a second succession Goal of the Season award at the weekend as his Old Trafford free-kick was voted as the supporters’ favourite strike for 2024/25.
