Jackson Tchatchoua believes Wolves had the match in their hands against Crystal Palace on Sunday, but key moments went against them which proved costly.
The Old Gold had enjoyed a positive first 45 but took a knock to their confidence when Tolu Arokodare missed from the penalty spot and lost the momentum of the game following Ladislav Krejci’s red card, leading to Crystal Palace taking the points.
Tchatchoua enjoyed a solid contest in the capital, but after a first defeat in four matches, the defender has called on the players to regroup and remember the positives they showed earlier in the afternoon at Selhurst Park.
On a missed opportunity
“It’s very difficult because we had the match in our hands, but some things in the match changed it today. We missed the penalty in the first half and, after the red card it’s difficult to then be in the match.”
On the missed penalty
“He missed, but it can happen. Anybody can miss, but after that we were still in the match. But after the red card, it’s more difficult to stay in it, because with one man less it’s more difficult to be connected together.”

On the red card
“He knows. I think it was a little bit of frustration. After that, it’s true it would be more difficult for the team, after that action.”
On bouncing back from it
“The team needs to be together and connected until the end of the season. We play for each other, for our families, for the fans and for the club. We play every match 100 per cent.”
