As we reach the end of September, the voting is now open for the latest SUDU Player of the Month award.
Across September Wolves played five times, taking seven points from 12 available in the Championship, with the recent win over rivals West Bromwich Albion the highlight, naturally.
The month began with a setback – Wolves’ only Championship defeat of the season so far came at West Ham United, despite a smart finish from Marshall Munetsi on the night. The following Sunday Fer Lopez and Ladislav Krejci bagged in a draw at St Andrew’s.
The first win of the month came at Bramall Lane, as Raul Jimenez struck on 90 minutes to beat Sheffield United, while a much-changing 11 performed impressively, but was eliminated from the Carabao Cup at Everton.
The final act of September saw the Old Gold beat West Brom at Molineux, with Lopez scoring the only goal of the game to earn the bragging rights.
