Wolves under-21s continue their National League Cup campaign away to Forest Green Rovers on Wednesday evening.
James Collins takes his youngsters to The New Lawn as the Old Gold face their second game in the new competition for the 2024/25 season, having drawn their opening group clash with Oldham Athletic.
Wolves are in Group B and picked up an extra bonus point by beating the Latics on penalties, with the team also set to face Rochdale and Altrincham from the fifth tier of English football.
The under-21s come into the game on the back of Saturday’s impressive 4-0 victory away at Aston Villa in PL2, while The Green also claimed three points at the weekend, thanks to a 1-0 win over Boston United.
Victory over Boston has seen Steve Cotterill's side move up to third in the National League table and are unbeaten in their last six outside of the National League Cup. However, this evening's hosts have struggled when it comes to this competition, having lost their opening two games at home to both Manchester United and Stoke City.
