U21 Preview | PSV Eindhoven

Wolves under-21s return to Premier League International Cup action on Tuesday night as they welcome PSV Eindhoven to Aggborough in a 7pm kick-off.

It is the third group stage match of the competition for James Collins’ side, having already faced Real Madrid and RB Leipzig, losing 1-0 and drawing 1-1 respectively.

Setting the Scene

Wolves come into the game buoyed by a 1-0 win at Middlesbrough on Friday night, where Dani Angel scored the only goal deep into the second half.

Last time out they were beaten 4-2 at home to Swansea City in what was their first defeat in five matches in all competitions.

PSV Eindhoven – or Jong PSV as the under-21s set up at the club are called – played in the second tier of Dutch senior football and currently sit fourth in the table, though they are winless in six league matches. Their last run out was a 3-2 defeat at De Graafschap.
