Dan McNamara’s side are in Adobe Women’s FA Cup action, with Sporting Khalsa the visitors in the second round.

The two local rivals go head to head for the second time this season after the Old Gold were 5-2 winners in the league back in September.

Amber Hughes (2), Tammi George, Beth Merrick and Anna Morphet scored the goals at the Guardian Warehousing Arena that night, as Wolves collected all three points in the Northern Premier Division clash.

Wolves come into the tie on the back of three away victories in three different competitions since their last match at the SEAH Stadium.

The first of those, away to Asfordby Amateurs, came in the first round of the FA Cup as McNamara’s team put seven past their opponents.

Meanwhile, Khalsa secured their place in this round of the competition after scoring five away from home at Notts County.

Andy Mulligan’s side currently sit second bottom in the league with one win and one draw from 11 games following promotion in 2023/24.

Last season, Wolves reached the fifth round for the first time in 20 years following a memorable run which included a win away at then Championship outfit Reading.
