Women's Preview | Rugby Borough

Wolves Women play their first league match of 2026 when third placed Rugby Borough visit the SEAH Stadium on Sunday looking to add their name to the title race.

Sitting just four points behind the Old Gold and five behind current leaders Burnley, Borough have lost just twice this season – to the top two – and know a victory in Telford could put them right into the mix. They drew 1-1 at home to Middlesbrough last weekend.

Wolves come into the game having not played a league fixture since December 21st and will need to react quickly to a FA WNL Cup quarter-final defeat to rivals West Brom two weeks ago that ended their run in the competition.

In the league however, Wolves are on a ten-match winning streak that began in the reverse fixture at the end of August.

Wolves 2-1 Rugby Borough | Adobe Women’s FA Cup | 26/10/25
