Among the key topics discussed was an update on the club’s commercial position and preparations for the 2026/27 season. Members heard how Wolves remain in a stronger commercial position than during the club’s previous spell in the Championship and were provided with an overview of the extensive process undertaken to secure new partnership agreements.
The FAB also discussed the club’s recently announced principal partner, Midnite, including supporter views on betting sponsorship in football.
Members received updates from recent Premier League and EFL supporter engagement meetings, with discussions covering supporter consultation standards, training opportunities for supporter representatives and the development of fan engagement structures across both competitions.
A significant portion of the meeting focused on reviewing the effectiveness of the FAB over the past season and discussing proposals for the future of supporter engagement at Wolves.
The club outlined plans to refresh and strengthen its focus group structure for 2026/27, including the creation of a new fan experience group, greater alignment between equality, diversity, inclusion and sustainability discussions, and the longer-term ambition of introducing a young supporters group.
Members also discussed opportunities to improve communication with the wider fanbase, increase awareness of the FAB’s role and ensure supporter feedback continues to play a meaningful part in the club’s decision-making processes.
The meeting also included discussion around the future of the fan zone offering, supporter accessibility, the club’s pre-season schedule, recent supporter engagement activity, and ongoing work around mental health and suicide prevention.
The FAB continues to play an important role in providing structured and constructive dialogue between the club and its supporters, helping to ensure supporter feedback is considered as part of key discussions and long-term planning.
